Poetics 2

The title of my catalog list poem is Soft Sleep. Brainstorming this ideas was very hard. I have a list of things that I wanted to write about, but soft sleep stood out the most. The way I chose this was starting off with something simple, which was soft, and then I thought about different things that can be easy, and that was sleep. I decided to go in a different direction from the others, that's why every line is on;y two words, and everything is short and crisp. Believe it or note the Unknown Soldier was something that I looked at as an example. The first thing that came to my mind was, I don't want my poem to be like this. The object poem was helpful as well. It was helpful for the catalog/list poem because it helped me focus on one thing rather than going on numerous of things. This poem was not as challenging as i thought, but the thing that i discovered while writing this poem is that you can write a story or narrative with two words.
